If you are on our mailing list, we consider you a member of the Education Alliance. It’s free and there are no strings attached. This is how it has always been and we’re going to keep it that way. But sometimes it can help to look a little more “official,” especially when you’re trying to get those discounts on books for educators or those reduced rates for admission to museums and other places. This is why we’re offering you our Home Educator Card.
It is easy to get your durable laminated card. Just fill out the form below and submit it with a donation of any amount, and we will send you your Home Educator Card with your name on it. This official card will help you qualify for an educator’s discount with some book publishers and it will help you secure discounted admission tickets to museums and other places that offer discounts to educators. In addition, if you’re out and about during school hours with your children and you need to prove you’re a home schooler, you’ll have your card to prove it.
ID Cards are made every other week. Your card will be made in our office and mailed to you. Please allow 2-3 weeks for processing and shipping. The card is good through July 31 of each year.
